As a Diamond HHonors member, I received a coupon for a free breakfast buffet. There is also a coffee shop in the lobby serving Starbucks coffee, which is nice. The facility has a pool an a fitness center, neither of which I used during this stay. I ordered room service and received my order in about 20 minutes - greeted by a friendly server and the food tasted great - no issues. The shower was actually very enjoyable with nice water pressure. I felt sorry for the people on the lower levels as the slightest movement would cause a loud sound! The room itself was Hilton standard - no issues. I was on the 3rd floor and every time I would walk across the room, the floor would rumble loudly, like I was in a very old house. There was no noise from the airport that I noticed however, the noise from other parts of the hotel was louder than I am accustomed to hearing. The facility is located right off the I-80 immediately adjacent to the SLC airport. When I arrived at the counter, I was greeted by a friendly agent who had my reservation in order. Parking was very inconvenient and there probably should have been an area reserved for the event or for hotel guests to avoid the inconvenience. I arrived at around 8pm to find the parking lot completely packed! Apparently, a local high school was having their junior prom at the facility. Won't be coming back here even though the beds were comfortable.I booked this location to stay the night after driving from an event in Elko three hours away. We had him get in the hot tub even though children aren't recommended to be in hot tubs. My four year old grandson couldn't wait longer, so he swam as long as he could stand it in that pool. Even when the heater was finally turned on it took a long time for the water to even warm up a little. He left and came back and said the heater was off. A maintenance working came and checked the thermometer and said it was fine - he couldn't turn the temperature up higher. When we stepped in, the pool it was freezing. The clerk was more interested in making sure I knew when the pool closed than listening to my request the pool would be warm. I called the hotel the night before we arrived to make sure the pool was in working order and would be warm. We wanted our grandkids to visit and go swimming so we made sure the hotel had an indoor pool.
